The 1987 follow-up album Whitney which included the hits Where Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built on her success but it was 1992's film The Bodyguard (1992) that established her as one of the most successful artists of all time. Though the movie was not well-received and neither did her performance, the soundtrack of her Dolly Parton version I Will Always Love You hit the number one spot on both singles and albums charts in America for a period of time. It sold 44,000,000 copies. That same year she got married to Bobby Brown who was a ex- New Edition singer. She was the sole daughter of Bobby and Bobbi Kristina Brown together in March 1993.
