Jillian Noel Shennessy born November 25, 1968 in Canada, is a Canadian actor and singer who has been acknowledged for her contributions in American television. She's best known for her amazing performance in the American TV shows like Law & Order (where she was awe-inspiring to viewers for three seasons as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she portrayed the lead character Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy showed her talent in independent movies including Chutney Popcorn or The Acting Class. Hennessy began her career in the year 1988 with her sister as twin call girls in the film Dead Ringers. In the year 1990, she appeared as a guest on Broadway on Broadway as Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Then, she moved into science-fiction and was Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. The big break came after the season ended, when she was cast as the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. The three-season run in the part was an instant hit with the public. The show ended in 1996. Parker has appeared on movies and television shows like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys at The Side The West Wing Angels, for which Parker received the Golden Globe Award as well as an Emmy Award. Parker received the Tony Award 2001 for Best Actress in the Broadway Play Proof.
